It's who we are and where we'll go. It's where we've been and who we were.
L I N K .
It’s a rare occurrence that a publication of any media attempts to hold an audience of such girth. Most focus on very specific demographics, such as teenage girls or retirees. I hope to prove that though the commonality of simply being human, all can enjoy a magazine written by ordinary people with extraordinary writing talent. I hope to reach conclusions about how and why such gaps exist between different age groups in society.
The Concept:
I hope to make content the focus. Simple, clean, well-thought out. As entries come in I'll post them with only the first name and age of the author. Right now, the common theme is relationships (check out how to contribute below). If you'd like to comment on any of the entries, feel free to do so with your own blog name or anonymously. All entries will be friends-only for privacy. Content will not be edited for anything but grammar. Anything goes, there will be no censorship either, but realize that the audience is of all ages.
To Contribute:
Hi Everyone!
I hope this finds you well! I have a favor to ask all of you that is exciting to me and hopefully something you’d like to be a part of.
I want to know how various people of all ages and different backgrounds feel about relationships. I’d like to make this site a sort of outlet for writers and artists alike to display and express their ideas on this broad topic. There’s no need for these piece to be professional or perfect, I just want real and honest answers from the submitters.
What I’d like from YOU are submissions! Anything you’d like to do would be perfect. They can be any length or any medium; as long as you keep in mind they will be included in a magazine with many different writers and artists.
Some ideas you can bounce off of are:
- A poem, short story
- A painting, sculpture, or song lyrics
- Research article, short play script
- Drawing, charcoal sketch
More specifically, these are some questions to reflect upon as you create your art and prose:
- What relationship has impacted you life the most so far?
- Who has changed you the most? Who’s influenced you?
- What is intimacy to you?
- What’s the different between friends and family? Spouses? Classmates? Student to teacher? Business co-workers?
- Have you lost a relationship? Do you live your life differently because of it?
- Have you ever been in a violent relationship?
- What about your connection with things other than people? What is your relationship with your dog? Your favorite food?
- How have your ideas about love changed since you were young?
- Are you unsatisfied with a relationship you have?
- Do you feel relationships and investing time in them are worth while? Why do you do it?
Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH in advance for helping me accomplish this! I look forward to receiving all your pieces. Although I probably will not use everything, I still greatly appreciate your efforts and the time you put into this. I’m going to use the best pieces, just like any collaborating magazine, that best flow and connect together.
If you could please e-mail me a scan or typed out piece of your work that would be great. You can give me your own full contact information, or simply your first name and age. If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime! Pass this along as well to anyone else you may think might want to be included in this project.

Thank you!
